W.E. DEANE EXPANDS INTO THE LOGISTICS MARKET

 

International freight forwarder W.E. Deane has announced that it is expanding its logistics arm to meet the growing demand for its bespoke service offering within the marketplace.

Indeed, it is a fast increasing sector of the business, particularly within the automotive and retail sectors, with growth levels increasing year on year for all aspects of its logistics operation ranging from pick and pack to delivering a full supply chain solution.

Harnessing a wealth of expertise that has spanned over five decades, W.E. Deane has been family owned since 1963 and has since established itself as one most experienced names within the sector.

With offices in South Africa, the Netherlands and across the UK, W.E. Deane already occupies an international presence within the marketplace and will draw from its global experience to further develop its position in the logistics industry.

Having recently expanded its Midlands operations by opening two new depots in Birmingham, the established freight forwarder has taken the decision to increase capacity in order to meet the growing demands of the marketplace.

W.E. Deane’s logistics operation will be underpinned by their state-of-the-art bespoke IT system that will streamline their operational infrastructure into a simple, yet seamless process – moving the business into the digital fast lane.

Deane’s Project Division has the ability to seamlessly coordinate each of its service areas with the help of its established systems and facilities and will collect, receive, pack, store, provide stock control, and distribute worldwide or throughout the UK as per the requirements of our customers.”
