During the last 10 years, W E Deane has sought to develop communication links with its major clients, principally by way of computerised data.

Container services. Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, South Africa. Weekly Groupage services Weekly Full Load Container services

Airfreight services. Full consolidation to all major airports.

Trailer services. Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden Switzerland, Portugal and Spain. FCL daily loadings. (inbound and outbound) LCL twice weekly. (inbound and outbound) Switzerland 3 x weekly (inbound and outbound)

We track airfreight via computer links to give up to the minute status and transmit loading and invoicing information in order to expedite movements efficiently.

Currently, links by computer are operational with many of the Company's top (bluechip) clients. When a major client had a requirement with regard to information of parts in store and shipped status W E Deane acted as consolidator for some 2,000 items and transmitted the required information via computer link to South Africa, thus enabling the importing Company to structure its building programme in advance.
